Best Restaurants for Team Dinners – Philadelphia

19 August 2011 No Comment

Philly and I have a long history.  It’s where I was staffed on my first client as a consultant.  Over the years I’ve had a lot of fun eating my way through it.  Whether you want casual, higher-end or a good old fashion cheese steak crawl, the options are plentiful!

Here are some of my favorites for team and client dinners (and yes, as you can tell from the list I’m definitely a fan of Starr Restaurants).

Best Restaurants for Dinner

Alma de Cuba – Cuban inspired food and drinks with a cool old world vibe. If you love Cilantro, you’re in for a treat.

Amada – Some of my favorite food in Philly at this Spanish tapas restaurant.

Barclay Prime – Great steaks with a contemporary vibe.

Buddakan – Great upscale Asian restaurant.

Continental Midtown – Totally fun and random everything: food, décor, desserts and drinks. Great for a fun team dinner or to grab some quick takeout. The Rad Na Thai Chicken is amazing.

El Vez- Fun Mexican with super fresh guacamole and good margaritas.

Fork – American cuisine with a menu that changes daily.

Morimoto – Quite possibly some of the best sushi you’ll ever eat if you’ve got a healthy budget.

Local Traditions

Home of the cheese steak, who can pass up a belly busting crawl through the local hotspots?

You can lumber your way through the Top 10, or check out a couple of my favs…

Cosmi’s Deli

Geno’s Steaks

Jim’s Steaks

Pat’s King of Steaks

People’s Pizza - Worth the drive across the bridge to New Jersey if you’re up for a really delicious steak.

Tony Luke’s
